Meaning, once the water content is removed (during the cooking process) this ingredient can lose up to %75 of its weight, thus likely to fall further in the ingredients list. Chicken is the clean combination of flesh and skin with or without accompanying bone, derived from the parts or whole carcasses of chicken- exclusive of feathers, heads, feet, and entrails.

    Chicken Meal: Chicken Meal is an excellent protein source. Unlike the ingredient “Chicken”, the water content has been removed from this ingredient. The AAFCO definition is the following: "Chicken which has been ground or otherwise reduced in particle size."

      only thing i dont like is seeing the corn but not knowing exactly how much corn is actually being eaten by my dog i cant make a clear judgement… but my dog does eat it plus he sure is pooping a lot!! not sure why?
