I have a mini pinscher who is a bit picky about his dog food. He stopped eating his purina puppy chow, and wasn’t growing as much as his sister (he was the runt though). So I decided to try this because of the excellent ingredients. He loved it! He would actually sit and eat his whole bowl at once, something he never did before. He also started thriving, body-wise. As for the “life-bits” the previous reviewer mentioned, those were actually the first pieces my dogs ate! They would actually sit and pick them out like marshmallows in Lucky Charms, and eat them before the other stuff. The only down-side is that it’s very expensive for dog food. But now I only have a one 7 lb minpin who only eats about a half cup of food per day, so the $30 (on sale) for the 15 lb bag isn’t so bad.

I bought your small breed chicken and rice dry food based on its excellent ingredients. I have toy poodle with a sensitive stomach. He liked the product but would take every “life bit” out and drop them about 5-6 feet away from his bowl. He wanted nothing to do with them. I would then end up walking on them. My daughter has had same results with her dogs. I would buy the product again however I am not willing to remove the “life bits” nor let the dog do it.
