Chicken:Chicken is a decent quality ingredient. Although it is a little deceiving. The ingredient “Chicken”, not in the “Meal’” form is inclusive of its water content. Meaning, once the water content is removed (during the cooking process) this ingredient can lose up to %75 of its weight, thus likely to fall further in the ingredients list. Chicken is the clean combination of flesh and skin with or without accompanying bone, derived from the parts or whole carcasses of chicken- exclusive of feathers, heads, feet, and entrails.

Whole Ground Brown Rice:Whole Ground Brown Rice is a decent quality grain. The current AAFCO definition for Ground Whole Brown Rice is:" the entire product obtained by grinding the rice kernels after the hulls have been removed."

Chicken Meal: Chicken Meal is an excellent protein source. Unlike the ingredient “Chicken”, the water content has been removed from this ingredient. The AAFCO definition is the following: "Chicken which has been ground or otherwise reduced in particle size."

Potato Product:Potato Product is a cheap, low quality by product that has been stripped of most of its nutritional value. The current AAFCO definition is:” Potato pieces, peeling, culls, etc., obtained from the manufacture of processed potato products for human consumption.”

Pearled Barley:Pearled Barley is a decent quality grain ingredient.
