Exclusive brand dog food is developed and manufactured by PMI Nutrition. PMI nutrition currently has their headquarters located in Henderson, Colerado. Aside from producing Exclusive brand dog food, PMI nutrition also specializes in PMI Nutrition pet food formulas. They also have an "economy" brand of dog food, called "Country Acres" dog food.

- Exclusive Chicken and Rice Puppy is designed for growing puppies that are under one year of age. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 29% protein and 18% fat.
- Exclusive Chicken and Rice Performance dry dog food formula contains Chicken as its first ingredient. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 30% protein and 20% fat.

I have a 5 1/2 month old black lab and I feed him the Exclusive large breed puppy food. He just finished the second bag and has been doing very well. He did have one bag of regular Purina large breed before I switched him to exclusive mainly because I was still doing research on food. Overall his development is great. He has a little dandruff, but overall he is great. I mix a bag of Avoderm with this food as a supplement for his skin. He is happy with his food, he will try other dog foods when we are over at other peoples homes but he doesn’t eat much of it. I free feed him and he seems to have good control. For the price Exclusive is a quality brand in my opinion, if i had the additional funds as well as time I would make his food or buy a mostly meat product. I am also thinking about buy some supplemental protein to top his food in the morning and night , like the Wellness 90% caned protein. But overall Exclusive is better than any brand you will find at walmart,target or any other grocery store, and is at the tip end at petsmart. There are better brands that is my budget allowed I would purchase, but for now this is the best I can do for my pup and I have not had any issues in health problems or reactions, also the owner of the feed store I get exclusive from has a golden retriever whose 3 years old and has grown up on exclusive and is still using it.
I have a 9 yr old pure bred American Pit Bull Terrier named Dixie. She has an extremely sensitive stomach and after trying about every dry dog food on the market… We found EXCLUSIVE (brand) Lamb and Rice formula from our neighborhood feed store!! I noticed a huge difference in my Dixie Girl immediately! (Her brindle coat became so much more shiny, soft, and healthy!) Within the first 3 days of feeding her stomach problems and gas disappeared!! GREAT DOG FOOD!! TRY IT 4 YOUR FURRY FRIENDS!
Exclusive® Chicken & Rice Formula Large Breed Puppy Food was sold to me. It gave my puppy diarrhea and I had several trips to the vet. She did not have parasite, worms or over growth of bacteria. This product also became moldy within 3 weeks. I bought the large bag. I would not recommend this to anyone.
Hey Mary! That is strange that the food went moldy after three weeks. I have been using exclusive large breed puppy for my 5 1/2 month lab and haven’t had a problem myself with the food going moldy. I wonder if your feed store had it to long? as far as the diarrhea that could have happened because the food was moldy. Dogs tend to be as unique as humans so your pup may have been having a reaction to a certain ingredient in the food as well.I hope you pup is doing better now.
we feed our chihuahua exclusive puppy formula and he has the softest coat ever and easily passes his stool.
once my rottie’s food runs out we are switching him to exclusive performance formula because he needs food with a high protein content.
I recently switched from puppy chow to exclusive puppy formula for my puppy and I found staples mixed in with the food! I thought I was doing little bodhi good by upgrading his food but now I’m not so sure.
