                      Whole Brown Rice: The incomplete AAFCO definition of Brown Rice is the following: "unpolished rice after the kernels have been removed. Not a complete AAFCO definition." Brown Rice is a decent quality ingredient. Brown Rice is a high quality carbohydrate that is high in fiber. p>

                      Ground Rice:Ground Rice is a decent quality ingredient. There should be at least one meat source listed before this ingredient. It’s a decent quality ingredient but shouldn’t be the main ingredient in dog food.

                      Rice Bran: Rice Bran is a by-product of Rice. Although Rice Bran doesn't offer the Nutrition Value Rice does, its not considered to be a bad ingredient. The current AAFCO definition for Rice Bran is the following:” the pericarp or bran layer and germ of the rice, with only such quantity of hull fragments, chipped, broken, or brewer's rice, and calcium carbonate as is unavoidable in the regular milling of edible rice."

                      Lamb mealLamb meal is an excellent protein source. The water content from this ingredient has been removed this revealing its true weight. The AAFCO definition for lamb meal is the following: "the rendered product from lamb tissues, exclusive of blood, hair, hoof, horn, hide trimmings, manure, stomach and rumen contents except in such amounts as may occur unavoidably in good processing practices"
