    Beef Meal:Beef Meal is a decent quality ingredient. The current AAFCO definition for Beef Meal is:"Beef meal is the rendered product from beef tissues, exlusive of any added blood, hair, hoof, horn, hide trimmings, manure, stomach and rumen contents, except in such amounts as may occur unavoidably in good processing practices. "Beef", with moisture removed. Should be first ingredient, or second after "Beef"."

The current AAFCO definition for Rice Bran is the following:” the pericarp or bran layer and germ of the rice, with only such quantity of hull fragments, chipped, broken, or brewer's rice, and calcium carbonate as is unavoidable in the regular milling of edible rice."

      been feeding large breed puppy nutro-max for 7 months..for the last 3-months we have been fighting very loose stools [ever since hot weather started]can take it anymore.will have to change.hard to find reliable pet food these days.IAMS CHANGED THIER FORMULA AFTER 10-YEARS..PURINA DOES NOT HONOR THIER COUPON BREEDER PROGRAM.IN 7-MONTHS WE HAVE RECOMMENDED 30 NEW PUPPY BUYERS TO NUTRO MAX.WHAT A MISTAKE
