Timberwolf brand dog food is marketed and manufactured by Timberwolf Organics, Inc. Timberwolf Organics is currently based out of Windermere, Florida. They are able to be contacted through telephone, email or postal mail. The goal of Timberwolf Organics is to create pet food that mimics the diet of dogs and cats in the wild.

Timberwolf's dry dog food formulas are made with meat meals that are specificially designed to be low in ash, while high in protein. For example, Timberwolf's lamb meal is 70% protein, and 8% ash. The lamb meal that many other companies use has only 50% protein or less. Timberwolf's dog food formulas are also free of corn gluten meal, BHA, BHT, ethoxyquin, simple carbohydrates, soy or artificial sugars. Timberwolf is also one of the few dog food companies that uses herbs in their formulas. The philosophy behind this is that dogs in the wild would be consuming herbivores that have eaten grass, herbs and other plants.

- Timberwolf Gaea All Life Stages Formula can be fed to dogs of all ages. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 25% protein and 15% fat.
- Timberwolf Southwest Chicken and Herbs Formula can be fed to mature dogs, as well as growing puppies. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 25% protein and 15% fat.
- Timberwolf Black Forest Canid Formula is designed to help overweight dogs lose weight, or provide nutrition to dogs that need a lower protein diet. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 22% protein and 12% fat.
- Timberwolf Wilderness Canid Formula can be fed to dogs that need weight management. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 26% protein and 16% fat.
- Timberwolf Dakota Bison Canid Formula can be used for weight management, or be fed to dogs that have allergies to certain types of proteins. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 26% protein and 16% fat.
- Timberwolf Wild & Natural Dry Canid Formula is designed to mimic the diet of dogs in the wild. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 36% protein and 18% fat.

Most customer reviews about Timberwolf brand dog food are positive. Due to the high quality of the ingredients contained in the formulas, many dog owners state that they switched to Timberwolf from a lower quality formula. Some dog owners stated that they noticed that their dogs had a healthier coat, reduced shedding and less digestive problems when fed Timberwolf brand dog food. The few negative reviews cited digestive problems that sometimes seem to occur when certain dogs are switched to Timberwolf dog food formulas. Some dog owners stated that they found Timberwolf's customer service difficult to deal with.

Great food, has worked wonders for 2 of my 4 shitzu’s. Benny has suffered with infections in both ears for years until I started feeding him the blue bag with the fish in it, now he is great and hasnt had another problem for over a year. Bailey’s pasterns were very flat now they seem to have tightened up her skin doesnt have any dryness anymore . Tizzy and Taz both love all of their different flavors but they have never been difficult to please. I order sometimes by calling it in because I get it straight from them and they have always been really nice and accomodeated me with no problem. I wish more companys treated there customers so well and the shipping is REALLY REALLY CHEAP.
What a great company and what great dog food.
My dog has been sick for months and the one thing I was sure of was that it wasn’t his food. He was itchy, fur falling out, stank to high heaven and had scabs all over his head. Months of blood testing found nothing wrong with him but he was still suffering. I found that many people on the internet saying the same thing and feeding the same food… Timberwolf. Took him off the food and placed him on Avoderm and he got better. Lots better. TWo I loved you!! What is going on with you? People I worked with in Customer Service are “Done” and no one answers the emails of my questions. Sory… I’m gone!
