Wysong brand dog food is produced and manufactured by the Wysong Corporation. The Wysong Corporation was first founded in 1979, and has since then expanded to include food formulas for many different types of pets. Wysong was created by Dr. R. Wysong, who is a health professional. Currently, Wysong offers many products, which are designed for dogs, cats, ferrets horses and even humans.  The goal of Wysong is to prevent disease in animals by providing a properly balanced, high quality diet.

WYSONG DOG FOOD REVIEW

All of Wysong's dry dog food formulas are carried in a special package, that is said to prolong the shelf life of the food. This package is called a "Nutripack", and is an oxygen and light-barrier bag. All oxygen is flushed from the bag prior to it being sealed. Wysong brand dog food is mostly only available in small bags, which the company states is also an effort to ensure that food doesn't spoil. These methods are used in place of chemical preservatives, and are marketed by the Wysong company as being very effective.

1. Wysong Optimal Performance is a special dog food formula that contains a high amount of protein. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 40% protein and 18% fat.
2. Wysong Nurture with Free Range Pheasant is a formula that can be fed to dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 39% protein and 13% fat.
3. Wysong Maintenance is a formula that is designed to be fed to adult dogs that are over one year of age. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 24% protein and 12% fat.
4. Wysong Synorgon is a formula that is chicken-based, with brown rice and flax seeds. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 24% protein and 12% fat.
5. Wysong Anergen is a dog food formula with limited ingredients, that may be suitable for dogs that are experiencing food-based allergies. The Guaranteed Analysis of this formula contains 24% protein and 12% fat.

WYSONG CONSUMER RATINGS

Wysong is generally well tolerated by most dogs, though some dogs seem to develop digestive problems when switched from other dog food formulas. The fact that some of Wysong's formulas contain wheat and corn may be why some dogs have digestive problems. However, many dog owners state that they would recommend Wysong brand dog food, and that they have not experienced any health problems with their dogs. Some dogs seem to dislike the taste of Wysong brand dog food, but this was relatively rare.
